West Fork Whiskey Co. Toasts to Three International Spirits Awards

Indiana distillery awarded two gold medals, one silver in Denver International Spirits Competition

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, 4/22/21:

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis-based craft whiskey distillery West Fork Whiskey Co. today announces it has been awarded three medals in the Denver International Spirits Competition, the largest spirits competition in The Rockies and one of just a handful of international spirits competitions worldwide. West Fork’s three awards include:

  • Old Hamer 100 Proof: Gold
  • Old Hamer Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey: Gold
  • Old Hamer Straight Rye Whiskey: Silver

All spirits entered in the competition are tasted double-blind by a prestigious panel of beverage professionals, sommeliers, and trade members, according to the Denver International Spirits Competition.

“We’re honored to have three of our Old Hamer products included in this esteemed lineup of international spirits brands, which further cements our position in the global whiskey and beverage industry,” said Blake Jones, co-owner of West Fork. “We look forward to continuing to share Indiana whiskey with the world.”

West Fork products, including the three award-winning Old Hamer whiskeys, are currently available in retail locations across Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, D.C., and online for shipping to 31 states, with further nationwide retail expansion planned this year.
