The headliner for the evening’s festivities will be Nashville, TN basedThe Wild Feathers w/ Scott H. Biram, Shelby County Sinners, and DJ Helicon. This will mark the 5th release of our most anticipated seasonal beer Grapefruit Jungle (or GFJ) IPA. Head Brewer Dave Colt will be brewing a special 5th Anniversary beer, along with several SKB speciality beers.

The 13th Annual Independent Music and Art Festival, otherwise known as IMAF, and theINDIEana Handicraft Exchange team up on Saturday, June 14th from noon to 8pm at theHarrison Center for the Arts.
A plethora of local musicians will be performing throughout the day including the Shelby County Sinners – who will be performing at Sun King’s 5th Anniversary Party! 100 vendors will be showcasing the work of artists and crafters, who use traditional crafting with a contemporary edge. There’s shopping for everyone! Including children’s toys, jewerly, homewares, unique prints, wearables, fresh baked goods, and more.
Sun King will be hanging out in the courtyard selling pints of Fresh•Local•Beer to those 21+. The event is free and is all-ages.

Manja, Manja! It’s almost time to fill your bellies with Indy’s Italian Fest ! This two-day festival will take place Friday and Saturday, June 13th-14th at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 5-11pm.
Your taste buds will be satisfied with the many delicious homemade Italian eats including classic spaghetti dishes, pizza, spumoni, and cannoli. Kick back and relax with a pint of Fresh•Local•Beer or a glass of Italian wine. The kid in you or your pint size little ones will be sure to have fun on all of the midway rides. Admission is free and free parking is close by.

IndyHub hosts the 9th Annual Get IndyVolved at the Stutz Business Center on Wednesday, June 18th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. The event will showcase 80 Indianapolis nonprofit and YP-minded organizations under one roof - making it easy for you to interact with organizations and find the perfect fit for you!
The event is free and just after work. Don’t worry, pints of Fresh•Local•Beer will be available for purchase, as well as, food to snack on from various Indy food trucks.

• On Saturday, June 21st, the Sun King Crew will take a ride in the Indiana Tour de Cure to Stop Diabetes. We are very proud of our team, their fundraising efforts, and can’t wait to cheer them on. Want to help, you can donate to Team Sun King, and help us in our commitment to ride to make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by diabetes.
• On 6/6, Community Partner, World Bike Relief is scheduled to roll by the Tasting Room. Stop by their table to learn about how you can help make an impact in sustainable bicycle transportation with volunteering or donating to further the education and supplying bikes to those in need.
• The Starfish Initiative will be stopping by the Sun King Tasting Room on 6/13 and 6/27 to recruit mentors for local area students, spread the mission, and give out information on how to donate to the organization.
• Wild Fire is close to reaching their fundraising goal to become a 501(c)3 organization. You can visit with them in Sun King Tasting Room on 6/20 to Spark Love in Indianapolis and help spread how to “pay it forward” in our community.
Indiana breweries unite for a fallen brewery brother.
For the entire month of June, various Indiana craft breweries’ beers will be tapped on a daily basis at Tomlinson Tap Room, located in the City Market, with pint proceeds collected in fundraising efforts for Bare Hands brewer Chris Gerard.
Chris Gerard, owner/brewer at Bare Hands Brew in Granger took a hard fall last weekend in the brewery and suffered a brain injury/swelling/hemorrhage. He’s still in the hospital. They are hopeful for a full recovery, but it will take time for him to get there.
On Friday, June 6th, Sun King will donate a $1 per growler filled to help aid in the fundraising efforts for Chris and his family.
