FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Fort Wayne, Ind. – The Northeast Indiana chapter of Girls Pint Out invites you to attend their inaugural BrewScoop fundraiser.  The August 15 event, hosted at Deer Park Irish Pub, will give participants an opportunity to broaden their culinary horizons by pairing Sweets So Geek ice creams with delicious craft beers and ciders.

Tickets are on sale now for the tasting, which is open to adults 21 and older.  Proceeds will be donated to Bring It-Push It-Own It. Headed by founder Tisha Stotlar, The Fort Wayne-based nonprofit mentors area girls through physical activity and peer interaction. The program aims to develop young women empowered with the self-confidence to pursue any goal they wish to achieve.

But, “Beer and ice cream,” you ask?  The short answer is: Yes! Think back to summer days of scooping vanilla ice cream into root beer to make a root beer float.  This event takes the next step by offering an ice cream menu specially designed to blend with select craft beverages.  The result promises to inspire a new summer experience that will excite even the most stubborn tastes.
