2Toms 5th Anniversary Luau will be a Hul-of-a Time

2Toms 5th Anniversary Luau will be a Hul-of-a Time

by Mark E. Lasbury for Indiana On Tap

2Toms Brewing has always known how to throw a party, but they are raising the bar for their 5th Anniversary Luau on July 29 at their Fort Wayne brewery/taproom/event center. Beginning at 2pm for VIP ticket holders, there will be amazing beer from 2Toms, friends, and across the country, not to mention great music, food, and extras.

Five, count them, five, barrel aged 2Toms beers will be on tap. Three of those – Blue Hawaiian 5th Anniversary Edition in a rum barrel, Dark Necessity – Small Batch Cognac Barrel, and Sight Glass: Rosso in a cherry brandy barrel, will also be large format bottles included with the VIP ticket in addition to being on tap for VIP and GA.

The guest beers on tap taste fantastic, but more than that, they are beers/breweries that have, in some way, helped create the brewer that owner Tom Carpenter has become and influenced the philosophy of 2Toms Brewing. Jester King Brewery, Burn ‘Em Brewing, Guggman Haus Brewing, 18th Street Brewery, and many others from around the state and country will be represented.

The luau will be an outside event, with expanded awnings and tents outside to protect from sun or rain. Unlimited pours of 2Toms and guest beers will be served in the Tiki Bar and Beer Garden set up in the front parking lot. There will be plenty of seating outside to enjoy the afternoon, the beer, the food, and the music. The taproom will also be open, so air conditioning will be there for those that need it. Brew Two Sixty will be on hand serving up their great food, with a special luau menu for the day.

If you need more, then pick up the VIP ticket. You get an extra hour of tasting, the three VIP bottle releases in a gift bag, and access to the Barrel Room. The Barrel Room private space will have the AC cranked up, limited access 2Toms and guest beers for the day, and additional snacks and food. It really is a deal that can’t be beat.

Walter and I have attended several of the luaus, and we can attest that they are fun and are special for their rare beer opportunities. Take a look at the images below and then go get your tickets at https://indianaontap.com/event/2toms-5th-anniversary-luau/.
