(Munster, IN) – Three Floyds Brewing’s Dark Lord Day 2014 event is in the books.

According to NWI Times, “some 7,500″ attended the event. At $30 a ticket and $60 per four-pack, that is a hypothetical $675,000 in revenue on tickets and Dark Lord Russian Imperial Stout bottle sales alone. The Chicago Sun-Times reports the number of attendees was over 8,000.

Indications around the message boards were that things went relatively smoothly this year. The company retweeted a slew of messages promoting the company’s handling of the event on Saturday. There may have been an issue with officials stopping some of the bottle sharing, according to one tweet that the company acknowledged.

Winners of the scratch lottery had the opportunity to buy one of the following variants:

Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Lord with Vanilla Beans
Brandy Barrel Aged Dark Lord
The Earl of Biggleswade (Dark Lord aged in a brandy barrel with cardamom, orange peel, and cacao nibs)
