SOUR + WILD + FUNK FEST RECAP
This year was better than ever. Hosted at the impressive Indianapolis City Market. We were sold out at 650 attendees. Thank you to all who attended. THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE
To celebrate our new look, we have released “The Welcoming Committee,” a new twist on our traditional beer sampler pack to welcome fans-both new and old. Containing twelve bottles of “Wheat Ale, Dragonfly IPA, and at least two other varieties of whatever the guys boxing it up were in the mood for,” the Welcoming Committee is, as its name suggests, an ideal introduction to the company’s beer for those new to the brand. Campside on the Tecumseh Trail
Last month, five members of our brew crew set out to ring in Campside season the Bloomington way. We grabbed our tents, filled our packs, and headed to Tecumseh Trail in our beautiful neighbor community Brown County for two nights of camping and a 42 mile hike. We made friends with some reptiles along the way, and lucky for us, we stumbled upon the motherload of delicious morel mushrooms. And it turns out morels are a perfect complement to Campside! NEW BEER NOTICE!
Two more delicious brews are coming out over the next month. Visit our retail locations on June 20th to get your lips on our refreshing Upland Valley Weizen. This unfiltered beer is cloudy yet crisp and will add sunshine to any spring day. Also, our newest Side Trail brew, the Hill Walker Saison, will be on tap at all Upland locations on July 4th. That’s right, celebrate your independance with a Hill Walker!
NEW SOUR RELEASE INCLUDING THREE NEW BEERS
For the first time ever, Upland Brewing Co will be releasing its first beer brewed with an edible flower. Our newest sour ale, Viola, gives our classic oak aged sour ale a new twist using fresh viola flowers. The beer’s enticing floral aromas and flavors are best enjoyed with seafood, sushi, or dark chocolate.With a focus on utilizing locally sourced ingredients, Upland has collaborated with our friends at Oliver Winery in Bloomington, Indiana to create Vinosynth White and Vinosynth Red. more…
