Tow Yard Brewing Co. is one of many Micro-brewers that are jumping on the craft beer industry which has expanded from 2011 to over 2,500 breweries nationwide. With so many breweries popping up in Indy, what makes this one different?  Well for starters let’s talk about beer, Tow Yard Brewing Co. is all about making and serving great beer like their Emerald Circle IPA or Goldie Hops as well their Hook UP and Horse Power brew. Like all great beer fans, Tow Yard recognizes other great craft beer makers and celebrates their brew by adding it to their tap room for all to enjoy.  Tow Yard also knows that we can’t live on beer alone (although some would argue) so they put together a diverse and tasty menu. Again what makes them different is not only do they brew their own craft beer, but they also carry other craft beer from around the country. One of the owners said “I’m not so egotistical to think that just our beer is better than everybody else’s, there are a lot of great beers out there from all over the country that we certainly want to add.”

Tow Yard Brewing Co. sets itself apart from the competition with its attention to detail and aesthetics. For example, there is the metal growlers that you can purchase which gives you that metal tow yard feel and sure to keep your beer cold as well the environment housed in old beer cans and bowling lane wood for tables (really cool), even the pint glasses that the beer is served in have a small tow truck etched in the bottom otherwise known as a Nucleated Glass, this in theory creates a more stable head of beer and stimulates that taste by exciting the bubbles when the beer hits the etched bottom.

Tow Yard Brewing Co. Is perfectly located at 501 S. Madison which is walking distance to the Colts Stadium and sure to be packed for pre and post games creating the ultimate tailgate party.
