Tin Man’s August 2015 Newsletter

Join us on August 6 for a special small batch Imperial IPA, brewed just for IPA Day! We’ll release Poplar Hill Imperial IPA, named for the locally grown hops from Poplar Hill in Henderson, KY, at 6pm that evening!

Papa John’s Pizza presents the OLD DAM BLUES Festival. This event will feature great blues and the Tin Man Brewing Beer Garden. There will be a Children Activities Area hosted by the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMOE) (1 pm) and featuring Art the Dude’s Harmonica Workshop (3 pm). There will be food vendors, inflatables, and much more. Fun for the whole family!

This event is free and open to the public.

Parking will be availiable at Newburgh Elementary School with the WATS (Warrick Area Transit System) bus running approximately every 30 minutes.

Doors open at 6:30 pm and dinner served at 7:00 pm.  A $25 deposit is required to hold seats when reservations are made.  Must be 21 years of age. 
 

The Indiana State Fair is presenting the Indiana Beer and Wine Exhibition, at the 2015 Indiana State Fair, August 7th through 23rd.  Tin Man Brewing Co. will be pouring on August 21st and 22nd! Join us on those days at the Grand Hall, located just across from the newly renovated Coliseum.  The Exhibition will showcase Indiana Beer and Indiana Wine with tastings and sales by the glass. While this exhibit will be educational and interactive, only persons aged 21 and over may enter the venue.

This month Tin Man Brewing Co. is focusing our efforts to support the Vanderburgh Humane Society, Inc. with help from other local businesses! All day $1 of every pint sold will go to support VHS. The main event kicks off at 6:00 pm with the release of a secret “pooch” themed beer. We will also be offering gift baskets for purchase, with proceeds going to VHS. VHS will be on site with animals available for adoption. Feel free to bring your pooch to our pet friendly patio!!

Join us for a fantastic afternoon of sampling craft brews on the John T. Meyers Pedestrian Bridge crossing the Wabash river in Lafayette, IN.  In addition to delicious ales and lagers, admission includes a commemorative sample cup along with homebrewing information and demonstrations from Tippecanoe Homebrewers Circle and Homebrewing Organization of Purdue Students.
