Illinois Craft Brewers Convention and Trade Show Kicks Off March 14-15 in Bloomington, Illinois

In partnership with the Master Brewers Association of America, the annual convention attracts brewers and vendors across the Midwest for two days of education, panel discussions, and networking

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: BLOOMINGTON, Ill. February 21, 2022 | The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild, the nonprofit trade association that represents and advocates for Illinois craft breweries, today announced the return of its annual convention and trade show March 14 and 15 in Bloomington, Illinois.

The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild is partnering with the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) to deliver a high-impact, valuable experience for both craft brewers and vendors across the Midwest. The two-day conference in Bloomington, Illinois, features technical workshops, educational sessions, panel discussions, networking, and a robust trade show floor designed to help breweries navigate the challenging economic landscape and, ultimately, thrive in 2022.

Breweries will hear from an impressive lineup of speakers on a range of timely topics, including supply chain disruptions, winning on social media, inclusivity in the workplace, safety, quality control, brewing techniques, and more. The breakout sessions are designed to be immersive, hands-on, and equip brewers and their key staff members with the knowledge and resources they need to better compete and to grow.

“The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild exists, in part, to ensure our brewing community has access to the tools and information they need to thrive in the new economy,” said Ray Stout, executive director for the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild. “The annual convention is one of the ways we support ongoing technical and operational education that help ensure our Midwest breweries are the best in the world. We look forward to once again gathering in person for the convention and to leaving with more knowledge, more capability, and more enthusiasm for the year ahead.”

The convention and trade show will be hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bloomington, IL (10 Brickyard Drive, Bloomington, IL 61701). Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days, and DESTIHL Brewery & Beer Hall will welcome all attendees for a happy hour on the first evening.
