17 Nov Football, Food and Triton — the perfect Sunday Recipe
A Sunday afternoon with nothing to do meant a great excuse to visit Triton Brewery for a couple of hours. As usual, I didn’t leave disappointed. The Byrnes Pizza food truck was parked at the brewery all day. If you’ve never had their grilled pizza, you’re missing out. As for the beer, I decided to reaquaint myself with their core lineup by ordering their Triton Sampler. For only $13, I was able to get six 5-oz pours, which included their Fieldhouse Wheat, Sin Bin Belgian Pale, Four Barrel Brown, Magnificent Amber, Deadeye Stout and Railsplitter IPA. The pours were a bit generous, which made a great deal even better.
If you aren’t familiar with Triton’s beers and have the opportunity to visit their brewery, I highly recommend the sampler. You’ll be equally impressed with the atmosphere. Their family-friendly tap room is the perfect blend of old meets new industrial. The staff proved again that the
service is truly second to none. Our server was incredibly nice, overly attentive, and more than helpful when it came to answering a few questions. All I can say is thank you, Triton. Thanks for adding a bright spot in my afternoon to avoid what could have been just another boring Sunday watching football on my couch at home.
