Bulleit Bourbon & Flat12 Jeffersonville Present Thunder On The River

Bulleit Bourbon and Flat12 Bierwerks are excited to celebrate the nation’s largest annual fireworks event on April 23rd with their Thunder On The River: Beer And Bourbon Extravaganza! Flat12’s parking lot and spacious, heated warehouse overlooking the Ohio River will be transformed into an indoor/outdoor beer garden and Bulleit Bourbon station. Bulleit will be whipping up their fantastic bourbon slushies and the Flat12 taproom and beer garden will feature 16+ beers.

Starting at noon, attendees can enjoy local food trucks, music pumping from the outdoor sound system, ”lawn games” throughout the day (corn hole, giant Jenga, and giant beer pong), all culminating with the evening’s waterfront fireworks at9:30PM. Whether it’s at the river-facing beer garden, or the VIP patio, party-goers will have the best seat in the house, for an up-close-and-personal pyrotechnic display against the lit up Louisville skyline and luminous Big Four Bridge. After the fireworks end, this Bulleit and Flat12 Thunder On The River celebration will keep on going until midnight! 

Thunder on The River is Flat12’s second annual Thunder Over Louisville celebration. The event is free to attend with an optional paid VIP section available from 6:00pm-12:00am on the riverfront patio. All patrons will have full access to the indoor/outdoor beer garden and Bulleit Bourbon station, the taproom, indoor and outdoor restrooms, games and entertainment, and the carry-out beer station. The front patio will be open to the public until 5:00pm, and then reserved for VIP ticket holders and closed to the general public. Coolers, outside beverages, and pets are prohibited. Folding chairs will be allowed in designated areas. All attendees must be 21+ with a valid form of ID.
