Monday 8/4

  • Book Club (7pm) - Redshirts by John Scalzi – come join our weekly book club as they discuss Redshirts by John Scalzi. Our book club is welcome to all – whether you’ve read the book or you’re just looking from some literary chatter amongst friends, all are welcome!

Tuesday 8/5

  • Tabletop Tuesday - bring your own game or choose from one of ours! Games are available all day, although the regular crowd starts coming in looking for some games around 7pm. See you there!
  • First to Brew: Beta Test #2 - Come in and help us work out the kinks for our new in-house game First to Brew. The game is for 2-4 players and available all day long in the brewpub.

Wednesday 8/6

  • Trivia (games at 7:30pm and 8:30pm): come join trivia master Andrew Crowley for another awesome round of trivia. Wednesday nights has

  • Open Mic (7pm): our Open Mic has grown every week since we’ve opened. A refreshingly free display of Indy’s talented artists, our open mic is a truly open stage that welcomes poets, comics, musicians, and more! Whether you’re an experienced performer or just looking to find an outlet to express yourself, you’re always welcome (accepted, and appreciated) at Books & Brews!

  • Live Music (8pm-10pm): The Bird and Brielle - Books & Brews Friday Night Live series continues with live music from The Bird and Brielle from 8pm-10pm. You’re not going to want to miss it!
  • Tapping Event – Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster: The best thing to hit this side of the universe since the digital watch. You’re not going to want to miss this high-alcohol Belgian Strong Golden Ale. You won’t need much for a good time. Trust me.

Saturday 8/9

  • Saturday Special - come join us as we dig deep into our creative minds to create a local sandwich so delicious you’ll say, “Wow, that was delicious.” 

Sunday 8/10

  • Kids Eat Free - kids eat free every Sunday! You get a free kid’s sandwich with the purchase of an adult sandwich. Open from 12pm-8pm and filling growlers for all your last-minute local beer needs.

 If you haven’t already, why not sign up for Read Around the Brewery? Earn cool rewards just by reading your favorite or new novels! Here is how it works: Record the books you read in the provided spaces. Every 100 pages counts as 1 book. Every five books you read, you’ll earn a reward, however you are only able to redeem one reward per visit. You are also only allowed to complete the program once per person. To sign up, just ask at the bar or bookstore register! All you need to do is provide your name and e-mail address to get your card. Don’t worry, we will never distribute your e-mail address.
