For Immediate Release:

In celebration of Bloomington Craft Beer Week, Upland Brewing Co., along with fellow Bloomington Breweries, Function Brewing, Bloomington Brewing Co., Quaff On Brewing, and The Tap, collaborated and brewed a drone hopped beer–Hop Strike! We are always looking for innovative ways to get more hops in our beer and have fun while doing it; so we commandeered a drone packed it with hops and let it fly.
Beer Description: 
Hop Strike is a dank India Pale Lager. This brew is packed with Chinook, Cascade, Centenial, Simcoe, Mosaic, Galaxy, and Amarillo hops. In honor of the Tomahawk chopper, CTZ hops (Columbus Tomahawk Zeus) were dropped from the drone. Expect a powerful floral hop aroma with a crisp and clean finish. 

ABV: 7% IBU: 60
Hop Strike will be on tap during Bloomington Craft Beer Week at Upland locations,Bloomington Brewing Co., Function Brewing, Quaff On Brewing, and The Tap.

About the Brewery:  Located in Bloomington, Indiana, Upland’s rich history dates all the way back to 1998. Taking traditional recipes and making them a bit more awesome, Upland Brewing Co. came up with their own recipes rooted with inspiration from good beer and good friends, providing a fresh local option to their communities. The name Upland comes from the term geologists gave to this area of Southern Indiana land which was never overrun by the glaciers that flattened much of Indiana’s landscape. The adversity of the land bred independent thinkers who had strong wills, a connection to the land, and a wry sense of humor about life. Upland’s approach to brewing beer honors the spirit of these people and this place.
