An Architectural REndering of DareDevil Brewing’s Proposed Speedway Facility

As the Indiana craft beer community has learned by now, Daredevil Brewing Co. is building a 10,000 square foot production brewery and taproom in Speedway on a two acre site at 1101 Main St.  Owners Michael Pearson and Bill Ballinger will continue to brew at their current Shelbyville location until the new brewery is up and functional, but expect to see active in and around the Speedway community before the new facility opens.

The picture above is an architectural rendering of the proposed facility (click on the image to see a larger version).  Construction is planned for later in 2014.  The owners are still working to finalize the building design, interior design, and are determining the new equipment needed as part of the expansion.  They’ve noted that they will be very transparent during construction and have even suggested a web cam in order to keep everyone up to date on their progress.

Hmmm….a town built around the most historic (and famous) racetrack in the world and now a brewery with a name to match those crazy men and women who drive its cars?  Sounds like a perfect match to us.

About Daredevil Brewing Co.
Daredevil Brewing Co. is an independent, central Indiana based craft brewery that was founded by two award winning craft brewers, Bill Ballinger and Michael Pearson, and a talented craft beer enthusiast, Shane Pearson, to bring their flavorful interpretations of craft beer to market. We know from experience that brewing eclectic, aggressively fun beers is not for the timid. Fortunately, the only thing we like better than a challenge is drinking the end result.
