09 Aug 450 North Brewing Announces Specialty Bomber Release in Conjunction with Inaugural Corn Maze Beer Fest
Columbus, IN – 450 North Brewing Co. has announced their first specialty bomber release, scheduled to take place during their highly anticipated and inaugural Corn Maze Beer Fest on Saturday, October 1st from 1pm – 5pm.
Approximately 2,000 bombers of Children of the Bourbon Barrel will be released and available for purchase by attendees of the October 1st festival.
Children of the Bourbon Barrel is a Russian Imperial Stout aged in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels. This full-bodied, smooth stout offers incredible depths of flavor, with new layers being exposed with each sip and bourbon barrel notes becoming more prominent as it warms.
Similar to its evil namesake, [Children of the Corn], this limited edition beer is sure to create a cult-like following and create a fanatic in you that will leave you fleeing to the corn for more.
“Creating a beer for an event as highly anticipated as this wasn’t an easy task,” noted 450 North Brewing owner David Simmons. “It was important for us to make sure that everything about this beer is truly one-of-a-kind and as unique as the event itself.”
The price per bomber has been set at $25 and attendees of the Corn Maze Beer Fest will not only have first rights to purchase the beer, each attendee will also receive a $5 off gift certificate good towards each bomber purchase, bringing the price down to only $20 each. The final allotment per person is still being determined. Tents will be set up both inside and outside of the corn maze selling bombers during and after the event.
While unlikely that bombers will still be available after the event, those that are will be available for sale at the 450 North Brewpub, located on the grounds of the Corn Maze Beer Fest at 8111 E. 450 N., Columbus, In 47203.
