Bloomington Brewing Co. Press Release

(Bloomington, IN) – After 20 years of Bloomington Brewing Co. craft beer only being available on draft (save for a limited run of 500 bottles of B-Seven Bourbon Barrel Belgian Brown a few years ago) at the Bloomington Brewpub at Lennie’s and other bars and restaurants in Indiana, Hoosiers will be able to enjoy BBC’s Rooftop IPA in 22-ounce bottles beginning in early April.

Gold medal winner of the 2013 Indiana State Fair Brewers Cup, Rooftop is BBC’s flagship IPA. The 22 oz. bottles will be available for purchase at Bloomington-area Big Red Liquors stores beginning Saturday, April 5 at noon at a release party at the Big Red’s North College Ave. location, then statewide by June.

Bloomington Brewing Co. was established in 1994, after Cofounder and CEO Jeff Mease successfully lobbied the Indiana legislature to change Indiana alcoholic beverage laws that were very discouraging to small breweries. Bloomington Brewing Co. was the fourth modern-era brewpub in the state and the first in Southern Indiana.
