Jeffersonville REstaurants Plan Thunder Beer FEstival

Buckhead Mountain Grill and Rocky’s Sub Pub already are gearing up for Thunder Over Louisville next month.

The two Jeffersonville restaurants will host their seventh annual Craft Beer Extravaganza starting at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 12, during the annual air show and fireworks display, according to a news release. The event will be held in a tent in the lower parking lot of Buckhead Mountain Grill, 707 W. Riverside Dr.

The festival will feature from beers from 25 regional and national craft breweries, including Bluegrass Brewing Co., Falls City Brewing Co., Daredevil Brewing Co., Sun King Brewing Co., Upland Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing Co., Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. and Oskar Blues Brewery.

Kids are welcome at the event. Tickets are $25 for children 6 to 12, which includes appetizers, a dinner buffet at 6 p.m. and nonalcoholic drinks, the release states.

Tickets are $85 for adults, who can sample one beer from each brewery, according to the release. Full pours and additional samples will be available for purchase.
