An Indiana On Tap Exclusive
Sun King Brewing provided the public a look at what we can expect from their new brewery in Fishers on Wednesday, January 28th when the Fishers Board of Zoning Appeals reviewed a variance request for the property located at 8545 Sunlight Drive. This brewery will be in addition to their existing brewery located at 135 N. College Ave. in Indianapolis. They hope to be making beer at this location by summer 2015.
From the agenda and the schematic site plan we learn that the brewery plans
- Siding of old growth reclaimed Indiana wood
- A trailhead
- An outdoor biergarten
- A “field” presumably for festivals and other events
- 250 parking spaces
- A series of test garden plots
- Room for expansion
