Introducing our Brewers:
Well, it’s been 2 ½ years, and we have finally gotten around to releasing a newsletter.  I thought I’d take the opportunity in this first edition to introduce to you the outstanding brewers we have at Tin Man Brewing (of which I’m proud to call myself a member).   These are the people who work hard everyday to bring you our wonderful beers.  If you happen to see one of us around the brewery, feel free to stop and ask us any questions about what we do.  We love to talk about beer!

Jason Hoffman:

Jason has an extensive experience in the food & beverage industry. He has an AS Culinary Arts from Vincennes University with a commercial production kitchen background and was a Food Service Specialist in the Indiana Army National Guard.  He graduated with a BS in Management from the University of Southern Indiana. He’s also one heck of a brewer and is a wealth of knowledge about all things beer.  Jason joined the team in June of 2012.

Jack Sramek:

Jack hales from Illinois, but is a graduate from the University of Evansville.  Jack got his start in the brewing world at Two Brothers Brewing Company in Warrenville, IL.  While at Two Brothers, he was responsible for wort production on a 50 bbl brewhouse, centrifuging, canning, dryhopping, and keg filling, which made him the perfect addition to the Tin Man Brewing family.  Jack joined our team in November of 2014.

Todd Green:

Todd has an extensive knowledge of packaging lines, and when you can as much beer as we do, that definitely comes in handy.  Todd previously worked at Royal Crown Bottling Company, another Evansville staple, as their Maintenance Manager.  He is also an avid home brewer, which made him the perfect fit for Tin Man Brewing.  Todd joined the team in October of 2014.

Nick Davidson:

That’s me; I’m the President of Tin Man Brewing and also a brewer.  I grew up on the west side of Evansville and lived here most of my life.   I started out, like most professional brewers, brewing beer in my home.  After graduating college I moved to Indianapolis, where I witnessed the craft beer culture really take off there.  After meeting my wonderful wife and starting a family we moved back to Evansville.  That’s when I decided that I wanted to help bring the local beer movement to my hometown.
Thanks for indulging me in a brief introduction to our awesome team of brewers.  It’s our goal with this newsletter to not only keep you up to date with the what’s happening at Tin Man Brewing, but to also give you an insight on the culture and mythos behind our brewery.  Look forward to further articles from our brewers as we delve in to all kinds of topics that relate to brewing and Tin Man.
