For the third year in a row, Sun King has partnered with Gen Con to make the Official Beer of Gen Con. 1,000’s of clever brew names were submitted to the 2014 beer naming contest, your votes (man there were a lot!) were tallied, and by a landslide, fans voted for Froth of Khan!
Sun King will be taking the tapping of Froth of Khan back to the west block of Georgia Street on Wednesday, August 13th as the kick-off to the “Best Four Days in Gaming”. The tapping celebration will be begin at 5pm and you may imbibe until 10pm with live music from Five Year Mission. The fun doesn’t stop there! Local food trucks will line the south side of Georgia Street to assure your bellies are fueled, games are encouraged, and contests will be held with prizes to be won. The tapping party event is free, all-ages are welcome, however, you must be 21+ to enter the Beer Garden area to purchase a pint of Fresh•Local•Beer.
