In celebration of our expanded hours we are launching our newest beer, Eirik Bloodaxe. As part of our Anthology Series of beers, Eirik Bloodaxe is a specialty small batch Braggot Beer.
The description of Eirik Bloodaxe: Coming ashore to destroy the land of its senses, Eirik Bloodaxe brings an ancient viking beer recipe and merges it with a Double IPA to create a unique ale fit for a King. With the addition of natural honey and blood oranges, Eirik Bloodaxe will wreak havoc with your consciousness. Grab a goblet or horn and fill it with Scarlet Lane Brewing Company’s first ever Braggot Beer. ABV 10% IBU 100
Why the name Eirik Bloodaxe? Eiríkr Haraldsson, nicknamed Eric Bloodaxe, was a 10th-century Norwegian ruler. He is thought to have had short-lived terms as King of Norway and twice as King of Northumbria.
You can get Eirik Bloodaxe at the brewery starting Tuesday at 3PM until 8PM. Kegs will launch in the market within the next week.
