McCordsville, IN – Scarlet Lane Brewing Company will officially enter full-time packaging in December 2015 with the launch of 22oz bombers of Marley’s Ghost Stout.
In collaboration with the Indiana Repertory Theatre, Marley’s Ghost is a peppermint and cocoa flavored stout designed in celebration of the yearly performance of A Christmas Carol at the downtown theatre location.
“Last year Scarlet Lane Brewing Company created a very special ale to commemorate what many have donned “Indy’s favorite holiday tradition.” As 2015 marks our 25th year of having A Christmas Carol on stage, we are thrilled to partner once again as SLB releases their first-ever bottled ale. You can find Marley’s Ghost Stout both on draft and in package during the month of December. Package locations will be announced in a separate release.
“Marley’s Ghost is one of our most asked about beers and partnering with the IRT has been a lot of fun. As we planned our launch into package it was a unanimous decision what our first beer would be for this expansion of the business.” Says Nick Servies, Scarlet Lane Brewing. “Packaging Marley’s Ghost will allow us to distribute the beer throughout the state for the first time.”
Scarlet Lane Brewing Company will join the Indiana Repertory Theatre during performances of A Christmas Carol on December 4th and the 11th providing pre-show samples. A private, dessert focused event will follow the performance on December 11th at the Indianapolis Colts Grill – details located on the Scarlet Lane Facebook Events Page with links to ticket purchasing.
First launched in 2014, Marley’s Ghost will be Scarlet Lane Brewing Company’s first full-time entrance into packaging and will continue with specialty and seasonal releases throughout 2016.
