02 Jan Scarlet Lane Brewing Company Announces OLGA Russian Imperial Stout
McCordsville, IN – Known for her stouts, Head Brewer Eilise Lane is adding to the Scarlet Lane Brewing stout portfolio with the release of Olga Russian Imperial Stout in early 2018. Building off the success of Dorian Stout, Olga is the next major stout development project for Scarlet Lane Brewing and will be available in limited batches in 2018 and beyond.
Olga is the second Imperial Stout for Scarlet Lane and is named after Olga of Kiev from 900AD Russian history. Coming in at 11% ABV, Olga Russian Imperial Stout has notes of chocolate, toffee and a medium roast. She will be available in kegs and will enter the barrel aging program for future barrel releases.
“Building off Dorian Stout, we wanted to find the right balance between the many variants of Dorian and different stout offerings The Russian Imperial recipe is something I have been developing for a long time and am really excited to release it to market as our next major stout release that will now be a part of our yearly brewing production.” Says Eilise Lane. “The story of Olga of Kiev is really fascinating and I feel this beer will be just as big and powerful as Olga was in real life.”
