Flat 12 Bierwerks to Unveil Name & Logo for Indy Eleven/Brickyard Battalion-themed Beer as Part of Festivities
INDIANAPOLIS (Wednesday, August 6, 2014) – The world’s game will form a tasty partnership with Indiana’s beers on Saturday, August 23, when Indy Eleven Professional Soccer will hold its “Craft Brew Night, presented by Kroger” event at IUPUI’s Michael A. Carroll Stadium. In conjunction with the club’s 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff against Ottawa Fury FC, Indy Eleven will host an exclusive pre-game craft beer tasting event chock full of Indiana-born beverages on the stadium’s East Lawn.
A $25 ticket package for the evening will include one ticket to the Indy Eleven match and one entry to the Craft Brew Night festivities. Fans that already have seats secured for the game will be able to buy an $11 entry to the tasting event, which will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
A highlight of the evening’s festivities will include Flat 12 Bierwerks’ unveiling of the name and logo for their new English Pale Ale created in honor of Indy Eleven and the team’s independent supporters group, the Brickyard Battalion.
