Indianapolis, Indiana (March 16, 2017) Traders Point Creamery and Flat12 Bierwerks are teaming up and hosting a craft crossover event — a craft beer and artisan cheese pairing night at the brewery March 30, 2017 from 5:30p-8:00p. The inaugural event will feature four pairings curated by the cheesemakers and brewers. Guests can meet the beer and cheese artisans and enjoy a flight of the four beer-and-cheese pairings for $10.

Pairing menu:

Hillside Bloom with The 12th Belgian Tripel

A soft, mold-ripened cheese with a smooth, elegant texture and blended notes of citrus and mushroom paired with a traditional Belgian tripel, with candy sugar lending a light sweetness to the smooth, boozy finish.

Sheet’s Creek Cheddar with Dry Irish Stout

Raw, aged cheddar made with the traditional clothbound method, dating back to the Middle Ages, served with a dry Irish stout that combines flaked wheat and black barley for a stout that’s dry and roasty, but with a smooth finish.

Fleur de la Terre with Rowdy Rye Pale Lager

Award-winning raw cheese that carries hints of sweet herbs and grasses, paired with a single-hopped rye pale lager with rye spice that complement notes of pine and resin.

Brick Street Tomme with Upside Blonde Ale

Full-fat version of a classic, semi-firm French raw cheese complements this American blonde ale brewed with pilsner and wheat malt for a light and refreshing year-round beer.
