Daredevil Brewing Co. To Break Ground IN Speedway Today (Video)

SPEEDWAY, Ind. – Another new business is coming to Speedway’s Main Street, and with it, brings a unique blend of manufacturing and retail.

It’s called Daredevil Brewing Company and they’re going to break ground at 10 a.m. today next to Dallara IndyCar Factory.

The local brewery is no stranger to Indianapolis.

They’ve been in existence for several years, but now they’re bringing their unique brews to a location they call “perfect for their growth.”

Daredevil Brewing says they pride themselves in creating aggressively fun craft beers.

Their goal is to push the flavor profiles and create brews that also pair well with food.

Speedway has been working for a couple years to re-develop it’s Main Street, drawing crowds more than just on race days. Daredevil says their new business will do just that.

“Being a production brewery, we have the unique ability of having a restaurant and tap room and it let’s us bring an anchor to Main Street,” said Shane Pearson, a representative with Daredevil Brewing. “So, we can help bring people here year-round who are looking to either visit the brewery or come out and have a pint and hang out with their friends and family.z

To celebrate their new business and whet people’s appetite, Speedway is hosting Hops and Flip Flops Craft Beer Festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. tonight on Main St.

Twenty local, regional and national breweries will be there to offer samples of their beers. The event will also include a street fair and live music. Tickets are $30.

Daredevil Brewing Company plans to open its production facility late this year or early next year with the tap room and restaurant to open shortly after that.
