Construction of Flat 12 Jeffersonville Wrapping Up

JEFFERSONVILLE — Lovers of craft beer can look forward to getting a taste of an Indianapolis-based brewing company that is expected to open a Jeffersonville taproom in the coming weeks.

Flat 12 Bierwerks is getting close to opening its doors at 130 W. Riverside Drive, but an official opening date has not been confirmed. Sean O’Connor, CEO of Flat 12, initially said a grand opening would be held Saturday, Nov. 22, but that date is now up in the air due to an upcoming final inspection. An announcement will be made soon, Flat 12 said via its Twitter account.

O’Connor said that a final walkthrough of the warehouse-style taproom was scheduled for this week and that build-out is almost complete.

“We’re already getting some beer in there,” O’Connor said.
