10 Mar Brewsline Rings In First Anniversary In Style At Scarlet Lane
The Brewsline celebrated their one year anniversary on March 5th with an anniversary brewfest featuring Triton, Bier Brewery, Redemption Aleworks, TwoDEEP, and Danny Boy. The celebration took place in McCordsville at Scarlet Lane Brewing, and from the great local Indiana beer to the solo guitarist, the event was a smash.
For the past year, the BrewsLine has been serving the Northside and Downtown Indianapolis by providing craft beer enthusiasts with transportation and tours of 3-4 local breweries while sharing facts about craft beer and the breweries. Tours have included the great breweries that were in attendance at the event and along with other great central Indiana beer makers.
When guests entered the dimly lit and industrial tap room of Scarlet Lane, they were greeted with upbeat and classic rock jams, the hum of an excited beer crowd, and the glow of the lights reflecting off of the brite tanks. Once inside, event attendees were able to sample beers like Coffee Dred Brown from Bier Brewery and Deliverance IPA from Redemption Aleworks. Most of the breweries had at least two selections of beer flowing, which meant no one was going thirsty.
After one or two samples, attendees were able to redeem a ticket for a slice of Kinsey Italian Cafe’s (locally owned in McCordsville) pizza and garlic knots or an Italian sausage from Strumpf is Trumpf’s hot dog stand, which was grilling up a few varieties of sausages on site and serving them up with everyone’s favorite toppings.
A quick glance around the brewery and you would see friends and brewers sharing samples, chowing down on great food, and celebrating a great year with BrewsLine. The brewfest was, if nothing else, a great place for people to come together, celebrate, and enjoy each others company over some great samples of local Indiana beer.
Cheers to Brewsline on their one year anniversary. Here’s to many more great years!
