Books & Brews – ‘Notes from the Brewer’s Desk’ – 7.28.14

Events This WeekBig news! Books & Brews has launched their Kickstarter campaign for their new in-house game First to Brew. First to Brew is in beta testing and hopes to raise money to employ local artists to provide an eclectic mix of art for the cards. We also hope to get local breweries involved. We’ll be testing First to Brew every Tuesday for the next 5-6 weeks. Stop by and give us your notes!

Monday 7/28

• Book Club: Demion by Herman Hesse. Our Monday night book club is open to all! Even if you haven’t read the book, come on up to b&b and have a couple pints and enjoying chatting with our fun group of friends. • $4 Guest Drafts: Upland Dragonfly IPA
• Introducing “The Growler of the Week” - every Monday we’ll choose a b&b brew to offer up as our growler of the week for just $9. This week’s brew is Queen of Tarts Sour. 

Tuesday 7/29

• Tabletop Tuesday - bring your own game or pick from one of ours. Gamers are around all day, but the regular crowd starts coming in around 6pm. Whether you’re with a group or by yourself, there’s almost always a game to play.

• Trivia (first game 7:30pm, second game 8:30) – trivia has quickly become one of our most popular nights! Come test your knowledge amongst a room full of friendly competitors – if you win you get your choice of a $20 gift card or a chance to name a Books & Brews beer!

• Saturday Special - come see what special sandwich we’re cooking up in the kitchen every Saturday. There’s always something new and exciting happening. One thing is for sure – it’s going to involved local products from local businesses.
