Bloomington Brewing Co. Announces Release Of Seasonal Persimmon Ale

Bloomington Brewing Company has their Persimmon Ale back in various Indiana establishments on draught and in bottles where craft beer is sold as of October 27th.

As Indiana’s indigenous fruit, Persimmons can be found when the leaves begin to turn and the chill begins to bite.  Bloomington Brewing Company pays homage to this sweet and slightly citrus fruit by infusing over 300 lbs. of locally sourced Persimmons from our friends at Twin Tykes Farms, located in Orleans, IN.  This batch is very limited and is only available for a short time.

Ingredients include: Pale and Caramel Malts and Cascade Hops with a 7.4% ABV.

Bloomington Brewing Company was established in 1994, and is the fourth modern-era brewpub in the state and the first in Southern Indiana.
