Beer Advent Calendars

Forget the chocolates, local liquor retailers are stocking their shelves with beer advent calendars this holiday season to meet the city’s growing demand for the tasty daily treat.

The sudsy holiday gift is selling out quickly in the city, with Sherbrooke Liquor store staff saying they sold out of a whiskey holiday edition by the end of June.

“People like them because they’re fun and they’re a great gift idea,” said Tara Smith, purchaser with Sherbrooke Liquor.
