Where: Historical 5th St. between Main & Columbia Streets in Lafayette, IN
The third annual River City Grapes & Hops Fest, will be Saturday, August 16, 2014, 4 to 8 pm. in a NEW LOCATION: This fun-filled event will be on historic 5th Street between Main & Columbia Streets, Lafayette, IN. Proceeds from this event helps support the educational activities of the Tippecanoe County Historical Association, a private not-for-profit organization.
Admission to the River City Grapes & Hops Fest is $25 per person, must be 21 to enter the event. A $5 designated driver admission will be available at the gate. Each guest will receive a souvenir glass with each ticket purchased.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste products from the Lafayette Brewing Co., People’s Brewing Co., Wildcat Creek Winery, all from Lafayette; and Carpenter Creek Cellars, Remington; Hopwood Cellars, Zionsville; French Lick Winery, West Baden Springs; Madison County Winery, Markleville; McClure Orchard and Winery, Peru (featuring their hard cider); Oliver Winery, Bloomington, and Windy Ridge Vineyard & Winery, Terre Haute.
Music provided by the Knickerbocker Saloon, Indiana’s oldest bar. Food will be available for purchase from Sovereign Catering.
The local hobby groups Tippecanoe Home Brewers’ Circle and Tippe Tasters will be sharing their interest and passion for home brewing and wine making.
