LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – There is no shortage of ways to get a beer in Greater Lafayette, but one bar just upped its game with a new way to pour.
It’s called iPourIt, and it’s already popular in larger cities around the Midwest. Although, this one is a little different.
Most locations have tables with iPourIt or similar software systems — where customers can pour their own beer — but this system located at the Cozy Tavern is on a wall.
This system, and other ones like it, are meant to allow the beer drinker to be able to sample beer styles without wasting money. Beer is sold by the ounce and is monitored by a beer watch which is controlled by a bartender.
