Two brand new Moontown beers, a Russian Imperial Stout and a Belgian Strong Ale, are conditioning and will be ready and tapped on Saturday, January 26th. These are a couple of STRONG (~10% ABV) additions to our line-up, and we’re ready to spend a Saturday afternoon enjoying them with you, because… Isn’t that what for winter weekends are for?

For our Belgian Strong Ale, “Belgymnasium,” we diverted from the norm and used Belgian dark and amber candi sugars, 5 gallons of Indiana honey, and 5 gallons of Indiana maple syrup rather than just using traditional dark candi sugars (is there sugar in syrup?). This will be tapped at 2pm.

Our new RIS, “Rocket to the Moon,” will be tapped at 3pm. This beauty was brewed in collaboration with the 4th Annual Whitestown Beer Fest Homebrew Competition Winner, Nick Boling who will also be in attendance.

We’ll have live music from Craig Thurston Music from 1:30pm – 4pm, plus our friends from Indy Craft Brew will be set up for their podcast. Cornhole boards will be out for open play. This event is FREE to attend with drinks and appetizers available for purchase. Stay for dinner in the brewpub after if you’re not too tipsy!
