Our aged rum is unique because of the time and attention we have paid it in a way that’s quintessentially Hard Truth.
Normally, rum is aged in used whiskey barrels. We decided that we wanted to do something that wasn’t the standard, opting to age our rum in brand new oak barrels.

This process has given it some bourbon characteristics — like smokiness, caramel, and hints of vanilla — while retaining the cane sugar smoothness of our white rum. It truly is a special product that has the best characteristics of a rich bourbon and smooth rum.
