Hey everyone – I wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you for the support. We’re continuing to grow and it’s all due to you. This week we’re planning on adding a 2nd nitro tap and another co2 faucet, giving us 12 total taps. We’ve brought on another brewer to help us keep our fermenters full and we plan on upgrading some of our tanks in the near future in order to guarantee we keep putting out a quality product.
Also – after taking a short break on bottling, we’ve upgraded our label printer and are ready to get things going! We’re going to focus on some of our more high gravity and speciality beers to start – the best way to see Books & Brews beer at your local package store? Ask for us!

Monday 9/8
Book Club (7pm) - Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk – come join our weekly book (social) club. Our club isn’t formal and all our welcome. It’s just some friends having a drink and chatting fiction. Sounds like fun, right?
$5 Wine by the Glass - all wine is $5/glass except our Moscato, which will be $6/glass
Tuesday 9/9
Tabletop Tuesday - bring your own game or choose from one of ours! Games are available all day, although the regular crowd starts coming in looking for some games around 6-7pm. See you there!
First to Brew: Beta Test One More Time! –The beta testing of our in-house game First to Brew continues. We’re hoping to get going on this project this week with a projected launch by Christmas and we’d love your help! Stop by and give us your notes!
Wednesday 9/10
Trivia (games at 7:30pm and 8:30pm):come join trivia master Andrew Crowley for another awesome round of trivia. Wednesday nights has become one of our most popular nights. You can follow Andrew on Twitter @JumpinJackFlask for a preview of the topics.

Open Mic (7pm): Open Mic is one of my favorite nights of the week. We encourage any and all artists to come out and express themselves through their craft whether it’s music, comedy, poetry or prose – all are welcome! This is truly a fun, inspiring night.

Live Music (8pm-10pm): Katrina Cawthorne Duo - Books & Brews Friday Night Live series continues with live music from the Katrina Cawthorne Duo from 8pm-10pm.
Tapping Event – Headless Horseman Pumpkin Pie Ale: Stay tuned, a lot of people are pumped for this one, but we’ve had some difficulty with the fermentation, so there is a possibility we may have to postpone the release of this brew. Fear not, we have a couple old brews ready to get back on the tap lines including Hop’s Cradle DIPA and Charlie and the Great Glass Ale-Avator Juniper Pale. Cheers!

Kids Eat Free - kids eat free every Sunday! You get a free kid’s sandwich with the purchase of an adult sandwich. Open from 12pm-8pm and filling growlers for all your last-minute local beer needs.
