The 13th annual original and fabulous GermanFest is the largest haus party in Indiana! For one day only, Michigan and New Jersey Streets surrounding the Athenaeum (401 E. Michigan Street) will be closed down and filled with the tradition and culture of our German ancestors – coming together with community over food, drink, music, and everyone’s favorite weiner dog races!

Whether you want to bring the kids to enjoy games and arts & crafts or enter the ultimate Durstig (drinking) games with four of your best buddies, there’s something for everyone and plenty for all! With two stages of music and entertainment and loads of space for vendors and food trucks, we’ll be announcing participants and opening contests for entries soon. Grab your dirndls and lederhosen or just come as you are on Saturday, October 9th from noon to 8pm!
