Bloomington’s Cardinal Spirits Begins Statewide Distribution To Meijer Stores This Month

Cardinal Spirits is one of the first Indiana craft distilleries to sell products at Meijer stores, and its products will roll out to most of Meijer’s 35 stores statewide over the next month.

Meijer will carry Cardinal Spirits Vodka, Standard Dry Gin and Bramble Vodka, made with black raspberries.

Cardinal Spirits is Indiana’s fastest-growing craft distillery. It opened in February 2015, and in its first year, it distilled 12 spirits and 4,000 cases, more than any other craft distillery in Indiana in 2015.

Cardinal Spirits products are available in 200+ establishments in Indiana, including liquor stores, grocery stores, bars, restaurants and hotels. Major retailers in addition to Meijer include Kroger, Big Red Liquors, Schnucks, Belmont Beverage and Crown Liquors. Its spirits are also sold at the distillery.

Cardinal Spirits is a leader in growing distribution and raising the profile of craft spirits in Indiana. It was the first Indiana craft distillery to retail at Kroger stores throughout the state, and now it is one of the first Indiana craft distilleries to retail at Meijer.
