Lebanon, IN – The Heart of Lebanon, a group of volunteers who promote, organize and support the city’s downtown district as a premier center of activity, are pleased to introduce and play host to Indiana’s first ever “Augtoberfest” celebration on Saturday, August 20th. This unique event will take place in downtown Lebanon at 2 West Washington Street, from 5:00PM to 10:00PM.
Celebrating everything German, this first-of-its-kind event has been designed as a head start on the traditional Oktoberfest celebration by highlighting authentic German beer, food, music and more on the city’s historic and people-friendly streets.
The event will feature craft beer from Indiana breweries Noble Order Brewing of Richmond and People’s Brewing Company of Lafayette. Indy Polkamotion, one of the Midwest’s most beloved polka bands, will be providing the musical entertainment for the evening.
In addition to the beer and music, various local Lebanon businesses will be on hand to sell and serve some festive-inspired cuisine, such as brats and spicy mustard, German-style pretzels, sauerkraut balls, strudel, and more!
Advance, online tickets are now on sale for only $5, with tickets available at the gate on the day of the event for $10. For $25, attendees can advance purchase entry into the event along with a limited edition, commemorative, ceramic beer stein.
