Larry Keel Experience
“With an unofficial title of ‘Flatpickin Legend and Master Fisherman’, Larry is considered one of the best flatpickers on the planet. Steeped in the old-timey and with a gravelly voice as deep and rich as moonshine on a riverbank… Larry’s flat-picking style is as seamless as it is gymnastic and he’s a master at simulating banjo rolls, mandolin runs or even parts that you would normally hear played on a fiddle.” ~ Mousike Magazine
For Keel the musical mission is always clear: to let technical skill, honest emotion and fearlessness connect the playing and singing to audiences, to entertain and to thoroughly enjoy the experience of creating and sharing in music.

Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys
Blazing hot Michigan roots ensemble Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys is touring in support of their new release, Ionia. Leading the group, Lindsay Lou has the kind of voice you can get lost in. One part jazz singer, effortlessly transitioning octaves, one part blues shouter, soaring over the band like a clarion call, and one part folk singer, rousing them all together in song. The instruments and the bedrock of the band may come from bluegrass, but the music that Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys present can best be described as Americana. This is music that’s caught between the pull of the past and the push of the beckoning future, ready to leap forward bursting with new ideas and youthful energy.

Glass Mountain
T.V. Mike and the Scarecrowes

T.V. Mike and the Scarecrowes are a Cosmic Twang Stomp band hailing from the West Coast via Bloomington, Indiana. Their songs follow the aesthetic of the Great American Songbook. The core of the group moved to California in 2007 and have been rolling up and down mountains and deserts since.

T.V. Mike aka Mike Klinge began playing music in Bloomington, IN in 1999 under The Pious Companion. The group went on a tour and had the pleasure of opening up for The Constantines and My Morning Jacket.  In 2005, TV Mike met Andrea DelaRosa and gathered a backing band called the Scarecrowes. The group then moved to California and has rotated through a lot of members with the core of TV Mike, Andrea DelaRosa, Matt Lundquist, and Aaron Deer staying consistent.

Glass Mountain
Inspired by a love of old-time and early country, the women of Glass Mountain make music that captures the grit and beauty of the American folk tradition. Their shows have the raw, spontaneous energy of a jam and the soulful intent of a gospel hymn.

The trio of singers and multi-instrumentalists first met through their involvement in Chicago’s folk music scene, and quickly found a kinship playing heartsick love songs, dark mountain ballads, and blazing fiddle tunes. They each bring a different musical vision and experience – with backgrounds in classical performance, old-time jams, and the singer-songwriter circuit – to create a sound that both celebrates and moves beyond the traditional.

From intimate house concerts to established venues, Glass Mountain plays regularly in Chicago and beyond. They have shared the stage with Frank Fairfield, Devil in a Woodpile, Jim Becker and many more. In early 2015 they recorded their debut album.
