Switchyard Brewing Co. Announces Partnership, Releases Branding

Bloomington, IN – Switchyard Brewing Co., Bloomington’s next family friendly brewpub announced a branding partnership today with Indianapolis based Elyse Myers Design.  Elyse Myers studied graphic design at Ball State University and launched her freelance graphic design company earlier this year. 

“Once we met Elyse, we knew that her design style and personality matched our company’s vision and guiding principles.  She worked tirelessly on several designs for us.  After collaborating over several weeks she presented a full branding package that just felt right.” said Kurtis Cummings, co-founder of Switchyard.  “Elyse’s passion for her craft, tenacity for her small business, and dedication to her customers is proof we made the right choice.”

Along with today’s announcement, the company made public that their current timeline points to a late 2015 opening alongside the community’s B-Line trail near the site of the historic CSX railway switchyard, now owned by the City of Bloomington. Cummings elaborated saying, “After walking through several sites and looking at what each neighborhood offers local businesses like ours, we ultimately knew that being alongside the B-Line trail just felt right.  The site we are focusing on brings many challenges; we want to make a positive change in our community and feel this is the perfect situation for that.”
