Flat12 & Derby City Whisker Club Present: No Shave November Beard Competition and Moustache Ride Red Beer Release

Flat 12 Bierwerks and The Derby City Whisker Club are partnering for a killer facial hair party to celebrate the start of No Shave November and the release of Flat12’s Moustache Ride Red Beer– a rich, bourbon barrel-aged American amber with hints of roasted malt and real vanilla beans.

Everyone is invited to come out and test their facial hair prowess, as Flat12 and DCWC host a friendly facial hair competition.

Categories Include:
Full Short Beard (Fully connected beard under 6 inches)
Full Long Beard (Fully connected beard over 6 inches)
Partial Beard (Any non-connected beard. Examples included: Muttonchops, Goatee, Whaler/Amish beard)
Mustache (Only the hair above the lip will be judged. Natural and styled mustaches welcomed)
Fake Facial Hair (Any facial hair-like structure hung from the face made out of any or all things.)

Prizes will be given to those who place first in each category.

$1 from the sales of every Moustache Ride Red and Walkabout Pale Ale sold will be donated to the Movember Foundation. The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, millions have joined the men’s health movement, raising $650 million and funding over 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

It’s going to be a great night to drink, celebrate facial hair, and support a great cause.
