Some things are too good to be true. Like, my dad’s fried green tomatoes, or a new Star Wars movie, or a cat letting you sleep past 8:00 AM on a weekend.

Add to that list Drizlya delivery service that delivers beer, wine, and liquor straight to your door with only the push of a button (or tap of a screen, since this is 2015).

Yes, my people, it is true: the future is here, and it’s bringing a cure for what ails you to your front door. Launched in October of 2014, Drizly has partnered with Big Red Liquors in Indianapolis to bring you liquor, wine, and cold beer via an online or in-app ordering service. Simply log on or open the app, browse the selections, add to your cart what sounds good to you, order, and wait!

Ready for some better news? Starting this week, Drizly has expanded their delivery radius to 15 new areas throughout Indianapolis and the state, providing service to 500,000+ new customers! Avon, Beech Grove, Bloomington, Clark Township, Franklin Township, Greenwood, Homecroft, Johnson County, Noblesville, Plainfield, Terre Haute, Southport, Westfield and Zionsville are now all eligible for scheduled deliveries. The areas of Broad Ripple, Brownsburg, Carmel, downtown Indy, Fishers, Fletcher Place, Fountain Square, Geist, Irvington, Meridian-Kessler, and Westfield are currently eligible for both scheduled and on-demand deliveries.

What’s the difference, you ask? Simple: on-demand deliveries can be placed online or in-app, and your order will be rushed to you within the hour. For areas where this isn’t an option, you’ll simply have to schedule your deliveries in advance, setting an hour-long window during a time for later in the day.

Scheduling may seem like a bit of a hastle, but think about this: it’s Saturday night, the game is on, your friends are over, but your cooler/fridge runs empty. The on-demand feature is a great remedy, but you’re probably not the only party around town running into this problem. Think trying to order 100 chicken wings at 8:00 PM on Super Bowl Sunday. Insanity.

With scheduling your Drizly delivery earlier in the day, you can avoid those long lines and delivery times. The earlier you schedule, the more towards the front of the line you are. Last night, I knew I had a meeting after work and wouldn’t be able to swing past my bottle shop on the way home, so during lunch I placed my order for a sixer of Triton’s Railsplitter and a bomber of Against the Grain’s Rico Sauvin, a delicious American IPA featuring Nelson Sauvin hops. I set the delivery window for 8:00 – 9:00 PM (I’m also a bit of a night owl), got home, put away some laundry, and at 8:15 was enjoying a freshly delivered Railsplitter IPA as cold as if it was just poured from the tap.

Scheduling deliveries isn’t the only neat function Drizly provides. Like to give alcohol as a gift over the holidays? (My dad always gets a nice Scotch). Delight a family member, close friend or colleague with a gift from Drizly: you choose the gift, and your recipient can schedule the delivery for a time convenient to them. You can send an Indy favorite to a neighbor close by, or take advantage of Drizly’s national presence to send a gift in any Drizly market.

Are you a last minute shopper? Drizly has you covered: as soon as you purchase a Drizly gift, your recipient will receive an email letting them know they’ve received a gift that’s ready for delivery!

While Drizly delivery service is only available for Thursday – Saturday, users have the luxury of scheduling their deliveries in advance Monday-Wednesday.

And for a limited time only, first-time Drizly users will receive FREE DELIVERY with the code INDYONTAP. What better incentive do you need to skip the hastle of an extra stop on the drive home from work or avoid the risk of making a mid-party beer run?

Head to Drizly.com today to sign up for your free account and get started on making sure your supply is always stocked.
