04 Sep Big Woods To Break Ground On Destination Brewpub In Speedway Next Week
On Tuesday, September 8, the Speedway Redevelopment Commission celebrates the groundbreaking for Big Woods Speedway, a 7,500-square-foot restaurant and 10,000-square-foot beer garden at the corner of 10th and Main Streets.
As part of the groundbreaking festivities, there will be beer toasts, food samples – including the winning burger of the national James Beard Foundation’s Better Burger Project – and free gift cards for all attendees.
ABOUT: Big Woods Speedway will offer the best of both its original Nashville restaurant and second Bloomington location to create a destination experience for residents and millions of visitors who come to Speedway annually. The new brewpub on Speedway’s thriving Main Street will serve up a full menu including artisanal pizza, pulled-pork barbecue nachos and a nationally recognized burger. The best-in-class craft beer selections include brews from the group’s Quaff ON! Brewing Company, as well as Foyt Family Wines and other collections, and craft spirits.
