Local Craft Whiskey Distillery Celebrates Indianapolis’ 200th Anniversary
INDIANAPOLIS (August 21, 2020) — Taking part in the Indianapolis Bicentennial celebrations, local craft whiskey distillery West Fork Whiskey Co. introduces its own Bicentennial Bourbon, set to launch Friday, August 28, at 4 p.m. at the West Fork Whiskey Tasting Lounge. This carefully selected non-chill filtered small-batch bourbon that was distilled, aged, and bottled all here in Indiana features a completely unique blend made exclusively to celebrate the Indianapolis Bicentennial.

At 100 Proof, this deep crimson amber beauty opens to the nose with a blast of sweet sugar and cream joined quickly by undertones of stone fruit, leather, and oak. The sip coats the palate with candied fruit that gives way to complex caramel, oak and dark spice and a finish that dances between sweet and spicy before fading to delectable dry oak.

The West Fork Whiskey Bicentennial Bourbon is available now in a 750ml size for $49.99 at the downtown Tasting Room located at 17th and Bellefontaine.
In addition to the new release, other West Fork Whiskey products include its name brand line of whiskeys, along with the newly released Mint Condition Whiskey Smash canned cocktail. West Fork Whiskey also resurrected the Old Hamer brand, which features Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 80 Proof and Cask Strength; Straight Rye Whiskey, 90 Proof and Cask Strength; as well as the Cold Hamer ready-to-drink bourbon canned cocktails.
