By Sarah Burns for Indiana On Tap

Not wanting to hang out with Drew from Indiana on Tap during #INCraftBeerWeek?  I don’t blame you. That’s why I’ve decided to lay out my game plan for the week to let you know where I’ll be so you can avoid Drew’s awkwardness and hang out with someone awesome… me.

April 24th
I’m going to be kicking the week off right by drinking in the late morning for brunch at Fox Gardin & Ale with Scarlet Lane and Hoosier Mama! That’s right. Day drinking at its finest.

April 25th
I’ll be having dinner at Chilly Water in hopes that they still have their Long Black Veil. It’s a 13% Scotch Ale aged in whiskey barrels from Hotel Tango across the street. I love beer, Chilly Water, and Hotel Tango, so this is a no brainer for me. They have amazing food too. Who knows, I may head over to Tapper’s Arcade Bar after that! Challenge me to a game of Pac Man?

April 26th
I’ll be heading over to Wabash Brewing Company so that I can try one of the BaconFace variations. If you’ve never had the BaconFace Brown Ale, you’re missing out. It’s amazing. I’m hoping I catch the coconut or chocolate variant.

April 27th
You can catch me at Tomlinson Tap Room for some 18thStreet brews and Rainbow Hurricane, the collaboration double IPA from Black Acre and Bare Hands. This beer sounds amazing and I’m so stoked to try it.

April 28th
I’ll abso-freaking-lutely be at Flix for the Amity Island Beach Party. It’s a keep-the-glass promo night where they’ll have some awesome special beers on draft for the showing of “JAWS” on the big screen. I’ve never seen “JAWS” on the big screen and am prepared to wet myself.

April 29th
La Margarita will be my stop of the day for some more of the Rainbow Hurricane beer from Black Acre and Bare Hands. La Margarita has a selection that never disappoints. I love me some tacos too!

April 30th
You can catch my runway debut at Indiana’s Next Hop Model at the Foyt Wine Vault that evening. If you don’t have tickets to this yet, you’ll want to get them ASAP because they are going fast. Why wouldn’t they? This event is going to be awesome! Beforehand, I’m going to try to head to Big Lug Canteen for their Tin Man Collaboration. It’ll also be the official opening of their outdoor seating area so they’ MAY have some disc golf…

Hope to see you out celebrating Indiana craft beer during #INCraftBeerWeek.  Keep checking our site for events being added as the week approaches.  Please make sure you share your experiences on social media because I won’t be able to make it to everything and would love to get an inside look at all of these great events.  Cheers and enjoy!
