3rd Annual “Barrels on Bonna” Festival Announced for Sept. 30th

INDIANAPOLIS (September 13, 2017) – Black Acre Brewing Company is hosting its third annual Barrels On Bonna Festival and will be releasing bottles of its Bourbon-Barrel Aged Beard Tax, a Russian Imperial Stout, for purchase.

The festival, which will be held on Sept. 30 from 1-5 p.m,  focuses exclusively on barrel-aged beers aged in a variety of whiskey, bourbon, wine, rum, tequila, or gin barrels and will feature beers from over 15 different Indiana breweries. Also in attendance will be La Margarita Food truck and Bee Coffee Roasters.

Tickets can be purchased for $50 if bought before September 30th at http://barrelsonbonna.brownpapertickets.com or $60 if purchased at the door. Tickets include unlimited tastings of rare barrel-aged beer, one bottle of Black Acre Bourbon-Barrel Aged Beard Tax, a branded glass, and live music.

This exclusive event will be hosted at Black Acre Brewing Company’s production brewery at the Irvington Coal Factory at 5529 Bonna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219.

Ticket sale proceeds will support The Pourhouse, a local nonprofit that assists individuals experiencing homelessness in overcoming barriers to housing, treatment and healthcare.

Black Acre Brewing Company began as a three-barrel brewpub in 2012, and launched its fifteen-barrel production brewery in 2015.  Both breweries are located in the heart of Irvington, a small community located on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana. Small batch and limited brews are produced at the brewpub location on Washington Street, and flagship beers and quarterly seasonals are brewed at the production brewery a few blocks away on Bonna Avenue.
