Staying On Top Of The Hops

Craft brewing has gotten so big in the region that now there’s an app for that.

The South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority highlights 19 local craft breweries and their latest offerings. It tells visitors where Northwest Indiana’s craft breweries are, and local residents when the latest seasonal and special beers are dropping.

The app is an extension of the South Shore Brewery Trail, which is an effort by SSCVA to promote participating local microbreweries, such as 18th Street in Gary and Ironwood in Valparaiso.
