Scarlet Lane Brewing Company Announces Laughing Water Australian Sparkling Ale Release

McCordsville, IN – In time for the warm weather to arrive, we are excited to announce a new summer beer called Laughing Water Australian Sparkling Ale for both draft and package options.

Head Brewer Eilise Lane has been working on an Australian Sparkling recipe for the last year and has landed on what we believe will be a new staple for the summer months. The Australian Sparkling Ale uses a unique hop called Pride of Ringwood and an Australian Burton-type yeast to create its easy drinking profile.

Native-born to Australia, the Sparkling Ale is a forgotten style of beer that has a long history in its native country. Brewed in the early days of Australia’s history, it was passed over for the imported lager style of beer and only one brewery still remains in Australia that brews the Sparkling Ale on the regular.

Laughing Water Australian Sparkling Ale has a soft, clean aroma with hop and yeast esters. The beer pours slightly cloudy and has a medium golden hue. Suited for the warm weather, the Sparkling Ale is very drinkable with the various ingredients merging with similar intensities.

Laughing Water Australian Sparkling Ale will make its debut on April 1, 2016 in the brewery Tap House. Kegs and bottles will follow throughout Indiana starting the week of April 4th with hand drawn 22oz labels.
