FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A new festival made its Fort Wayne debut Saturday. “BBB” stands for beer, bourbon and bacon.

Several local radio stations sponsored the event. The sold-out festival featured beers and bourbons from across the country and bacon-themed foods from around the Summit City.

Organizers said food and drink gatherings are a great way to get people downtown.

“Everyone loves beer, Everyone loves bourbon, everyone loves bacon. Well, maybe not everyone loves bourbon, but a lot of people do. I think that the more things we can do to bring people of a like mind and like taste together, the better,” J.J. Fabini with the Summit City Radio Group said.

More than a thousand people put their taste-buds to the test for this year’s inaugural fest.
